From 2015 to 2023: As a member of the business leadership team across multiple functions at a global energy provider, Ronan has contributed to business development by shaping strategy, analysing markets, managing partnerships, optimising operations, enhancing revenue, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He held leading roles in managing risk, fostering innovation, and aligning the business with decarbonisation efforts and sustainability goals.
From 2007 to 2015: Ronan enjoyed two roles over this period as a Maintenance Manager and as a Process Technical Manager. Ronan honed his skills in asset integrity, project management, technology stewardship, and process design. This multifaceted experience uniquely positions him to manage projects, guide technological strategies, design efficient processes, and offer valuable industry expertise to clients.
From 2003 to 2007: Working for a global petrochemical technology provider, Ronan held dual roles. As a Technology Implementation Manager, he navigated technical and commercial negotiations with major national oil companies in the US, EMEA, and China, overseeing worldwide technology deployments. Later, as a Proposals Manager, the focus shifted to crafting persuasive proposals, conducting cost estimations, and competitive analysis to expand the company's global reach. These roles were instrumental in ensuring effective technology licensing, risk management, and securing new contracts for business growth.
From 1999 to 2003: As a chemical engineer, learning the trade, honing skills in process design, project engineering, commissioning and operations.
